Litti Chokha is a traditional tasty & Healthy dish eaten mainly in Bihar, Jharkhad & Eastern UP. It can be had for dinner, lunch or you can make it on your holidays and special days you will surely love it. Litti is the stuffed whole wheat dough ball and Chokha is a mashed relish that is served with litti.
Litti is similar to Bati in appearance but there is a little difference. The Pitthi(stuffing) to be filled in it is made with Sattu. On other hand Chokha can be made with roasted eggplant (baingan), roasted potatoes (aloo) and roasted tomatoes (tamatar). You can make them separately or even combine all three and make one chokha.
Mostly Litti Chokha made with Ghee on tandoor but in this video we make litti chokha in Cooker with Saloni Mustard oil. Saloni Mustard Oil #SehatBhiSwadBhi Jo Banta hai apni hi factory mein.
