Paneer Amritsari is an excellent and popular dish from the Punjabi cuisine usually sold in many restaurants to Punjabi dhabas. It is one of the hottest favorite dishes among the vegetarians.
Paneer Amritsari is a tasty starter snack of crisp shallow fried paneer cubes. The paneer cubes are marinated in a mixture of gram flour, spices, herbs and then fried. This recipe is Famous in city of golden temple – “Amritsar” in Punjab. This Recipe is a Veg Version of Fish Amritsari.
Ingredients
For Batter
2 tbsp Saloni Mustard Oil
½ tbsp Ajwain
Pinch of Hing
Pinch of Kasuri Methi
2 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Chilli Flakes
1 tsp Dhania Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Garam Masala
Salt as per taste
½ tsp haldi
1 tsp Kashmiri Lal Mirch
½ Cup Besan
3 tbsp Lemon Juice
Pinch of Dhania
½ tsp Sugar
Water
For Frying
250 Gram Paneer (Cubes)
3 tbsp Saloni Mustard Oil
For Garnish
1 Onion (Cut in Circle)
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Lemon Juice.
Pinch of Dhania Leaves.
Method
For Cook #PaneerAmritsari First Heat Saloni Mustard Oil in a Pan & add Ajwain and Hing in the pan Saute for few Seconds.
After Few Seconds add Ginger Garlic Paste and Chilli Flakes and Saute for Few Seconds.
Now Add Dhania Powder, Jeera Powder, Garam masala, Salt, Haldi, Kasuri Methi and Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder and Mix Well.
After mix well add Besan and Roast for few Minutes and Put it on a Bowl.
Add Lemon Juice, Sugar, Chopped Dhania and Mix Well.
Dip Paneer Cubes in Batter and Coat Very Well.
Heat Saloni Mustard Oil in a Pan.
Put Coated Paneer Cubes in the Pan and Fry for 2 or 3
For making Punjabi Chole First take a Non-Stick pan add Saloni Mustard Oil and Smoke Oil for few minutes.
