In this video our chef is Cooking “Punjabi Chole Recipe”. Punjabi Chole Recipe :- Chickpeas Cooked in a Delicious, Flavorful, tangy and Spicy Gravy. Punjabi chole Served with Bhatura, Kulche, and Lachha Paratha. Punjabi Chole with Bhatura is a favorite among Indians and is a very popular meal in Dhabas and North Indian Restaurants.
Ingredients
3 tbsp Saloni Mustard Oil
1 Cup Soaked and Boiled Chana (Chole)
2 Chopped Onions
2 Chopped tomatoes
2 Bay Leaf
3 Black Cardamom
2 Green Cardamom
1 cup tomato Puree
2 tbsp Chana Masala
1 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Dhania Powder
1 tsp Haldi
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt as per taste
1 Small Ginger Sliced Cutting
2 Green Chilli Sliced Cutting
Pinch of Chopped Dhania
Water
Method
For making Punjabi Chole First take a Non-Stick pan add Saloni Mustard Oil and Smoke Oil for few minutes.
Now Add Bay Leaf, Black Cardamom and Green Cardamom and Smoke for few minutes on a medium flame.
Now Add Chopped Onion and Cook until Golden Brown.
After Onion gets Golden Brown Add Tomatoes, Green Chilli and Tomato Puree and cook for few minutes.
Now Add Ginger Garlic Paste and Cook for few minutes.
After Few minutes of cooking now add Chana Masala, Dhania Powder, Jeera Powder, Garam masala, Haldi, Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Mix Well and Add water and Cook for Few Minutes.
Now Add Boiled Chana, mix well add water Cover pan with lid and Cook for 5 min.
Now Switch off the Flame and Add Chopped Dhania and Ginger Sliceds and mix well.
Your Punjabi Chole is Ready to eat, Serve Hot with Kulcha or Bhatura.
